چکیده
As a result of the substantial rise in life expectancy people with Down syndrome recent years, there is now greater group individuals condition who show early signs ageing. The current study was carried out to evaluate age-related changes blood levels predictive biomarker for identification neurodegenerative alterations syndrome.

P36: Role of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor in Pathogenesis and Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a syndrome causing from a severe traumatic happening that leads to threatened death or injury. PTSD is associated with changes in limbic, hippocampal, and prefrontal cortical region function due to changes in synaptogenesis, dendritic modifying, and neurogenesis. Changes in neuron in PTSD patients result from pathophysiological disturbances in inflammato...
متن کاملEffects of High Intensity Interval Training and Consumption of Matcha Green Tea on Malondialdehyde and Glutathione Peroxidase Levels in women
Background and purpose: Increased production of free radicals occurs due to intense and unconventional physical activity. The present study aimed at evaluating the effect of six weeks of high intensity interval training and Matcha green tea on some cellular oxidants (MDA) and glutathione peroxidase (GPX) in women. Materials and methods: A quasi-experimental applied research was performed in...
متن کاملAccelerated age-related decrease in brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in bipolar disorder.
Age-related conditions, such as cognitive decline, cardiovascular disease, cancer and other medical morbidities have been associated with bipolar disorder (BD) (Kapczinski et al., 2008). However the biological mechanisms underlying these associations remain unclear. It is well established that bipolar patients show greater cognitive impairment than age-matched controls, not only during mood epi...
متن کاملDecreased brain-derived neurotrophic factor plasma levels in psoriasis patients
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is associated with neuroplasticity and synaptic strength, and is decreased in conditions associated with chronic stress. Nevertheless, BDNF has not yet been investigated in psoriasis, a chronic inflammatory systemic disease that is exacerbated by stress. Therefore, our aim was to determine BDNF plasma levels in psoriasis patients and healthy controls. Ad...
